The EF9603, also known as the 'Magic Water Filter' was one of the first fridge filter cartridges which hit the UK market as early as 2002/2003. Initially, when side-by-side fridges were still in their infancy, people approached us about finding alternative solutions for this cartridge, which at the time was being sold at as much as £60 as a manufacturers original spare part.
The GS10J was the result - an inline filter which we had made to our exact specification, intended to serve as a direct replacement for the EF9603 and its replacement, WSF100. It is a simple carbon filter, designed to remove chlorine, sediment and dissolved organics - essentially improving the aesthetic quality of the water whilst protecting the internals of the fridge (particularly the solenoid valves on the dispensers) from small pieces of grit and dirt.
This is a very easy cartridge to fit, and is supplied with full instructions, a free bracket to mount it on, and a handy spanner for tightening the thumb nuts.
