The BL9808 external filter was used in many Hotpoint and LG fridges, and whilst replaced by internally fitting cartridges on most newer models there are still thousands of these fridges across the UK being used. Unfortunately the BL9808 original cartridge has maintained very high pricing despite being essentially discontinued, for what (in the water filter industry) is a very common and almost 'standard' sort of part.
The Pozzani GS10J cartridge has been specifically engineered for side-by-side fridges - Offering similar performance over the life of the filter, whilst using secure and thoroughly tested compression fittings which have been proven to be the 'most consistent' method for fitting fridge cartridges over time. We have sold tens of thousands of these compatibles and we are confident customers choosing this option will notice no difference at all to the original - Except of course, for having slightly more money left in their wallet!
