Please note - Whilst this filter looks like a Frigidaire cartridge which retails for about £15 less they are entirely different dimensions!
The Hoover Purewater system uses a block carbon cartridge inside an unscrewable sump bowl to filter chlorine, sediment and dissolved organic matter from the incoming water supply, greatly improving the tatse of the water. Its usually located in the top right corner of the fridge compartment itself, carrying part number 09183849 (sometimes stamped on the cap, but if not check the fridge manual). Hoover made relatively few fridges with integrated filters, so chances are if you have a Hoover fridge which uses a filter, this will be the right one for you!
