The Rangemaster SXS series of fridges have externally fitting cartridges, but, rather uniquely, these are two year cartridges not the typical six months. Its pretty uncommon in the water filter industry to use cartridges which last for two years, and most European companies choose to use 6 monthly filters to eliminate any concerns caused by the buildup of bacteria within the filter itself.
Our GS10J cartridge -will- replace the SXS series filters, but it is a six month model. Therefore whilst you should get a similar level of filtration performance, be advised that you'll be changing them on a four to one ration when compared with the OEM part.
